Virgin of Guadalupe The Fiesta of the Virgin of Guadalupe is traditionally celebrated on the 12th of December.

The procession starts at 6pm
This procession has been an annual tradition for more than 250 years. The route, which has been followed since 1731, travels through to Mercado to City Hall, the Bexar County Courthouse and ends at the San Fernando Cathedral. The reenactment of the journey of Joseph and Mary is held in conjunction with Fiesta de las Luminarias.
