Upcoming Asia Society Events


Tea Tasting and Asian Market
Saturday, February 9th, 2002. From 3:00 - 5:00 at the Doubletree Post Oak Hotel. Admission to the Tea Tasting and Asian Market is $50 per person (members), $75 (nonmembers).

Shop and explore the hugely popular world of tea: the Asian Market will feature Asian art dealers, designers and artists. Each vendor specially selected for the event. As you browse through the opulent shops, you will have an opportunity to taste and learn about the many flavors and blends of Asian teas as well and learn the legends and medicinal attributes of each. Proceeds from the sale will go to the educational outreach projects of the Asia Society.
