Description
|
The Federation of Italian-American Organizations of Greater Houston is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to unify the local Italian-American community and to promote Italian culture and heritage through education in music, language and the arts. Established in 1982, the Federation includes nineteen individual Italian-American clubs.

Events and
Traditions
|
The ICCC (Italian Cultural and Community Center) offers concerts, lectures, exhibits, films, Italian Mass, social clubs and the annual Italian festival in the fall.
The ICCC also offers an extensive library with video tapes, audio tapes, and books in English and Italian as well as a Genealogy Library to preserve the history of Italian immigrant experiences in the Houston area.

Workshops
|
The Italian Language School offers beginner to advanced classes for children and adults. Private tutoring is also available.
ICCC offers Italian cooking classes, lectures and special events.

The ICCC offers Houston's only Italian-American newspaper, La Voce Italiana.
