General Interest Meeting

Everyone is invited to attend a General Interest Meeting Monday, March 5, 2001 to discuss methods to increase involvement and support for Houston Institute for Culture. Those with special physical or communication needs that may impact participation in this activity should contact Mark Lacy at 713-521-3686 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting to discuss accommodations.
The Houston Institute for Culture is seeking volunteers to help organize events, provide assistance to other cultural organizations and help produce informative material for our website. Our focus is on many aspects of culture which affect Houston, including regional, traditional, popular and international culture.
The meeting will take place at the Montrose Branch of the Houston Public Library located one block north of Richmond Avenue on Montrose Boulevard. Call 713-521-3686 for directions or more information.
